Howard Helmer is a famous chef who is an advocate of cooking eggs. Raised in Chicago, he was originally from Russia. He currently holds the Guinness world record for the fastest omelette cooker.[1]
Helmer has made appearances on the Food Network and Oprah and he has taught celebrities in the art of cooking omelettes on the Dinah Shore show. He is also a spokesperson for the American Egg Board. In 2011 Helmer was invited to do a demonstration at the White House in a session called, "play with your food." [2]
